When it’s really hot, you want something
to cool you down, right? Lime, mint, and ice are three things that will get you
there quickly. This refreshing drink will
definitely cool you off on those hot days of summer and you will just feel
light, clean, and refreshing.
Summer here is so hot and humid and I find myself craving for all sorts of frosty refreshment. Typically, I look to different drinks that truly quenches my thirst. There is something appealing about a glass filled with something cold and a bit bubbly.
Mint ginger lime cooler is a
refreshing and healthy drink, apt for the scorching summers. This cooler has
the tanginess of lemon, flavor of mint leaves with subtle ginger. To celebrate
the arrival of summer, I made this Ginger Mint Cooler using ginger, fresh
squeezed lime juice, mint from my kitchen garden and sparkling water.
Poured over ice, it made a healthy refreshing drink. Ginger is sweet, it’s savory, and it’s spicy, all at the same time. Besides being tasty and helping to aid digestion, ginger is also known for it’s anti-nausea benefits. It has also been used for centuries to reduce inflammation. With a little lime and fresh mint, this Ginger Mint Cooler is the perfect drink for a summer day, or for any time of the year. The combination of ginger and mint can never go wrong.
