Tutti Frutti is a colorful confection consisting candied
fruits. In India Tutti Frutti are papaya cubed and
candied into various colors like green, red and yellow. As a child I loved
these cookies and still have special place in my heart for them.My son is a great fan of cakes which I bake and I just find excuses to bake a cake for him.I do make cakes with Icing but only for specific
occasions but in general I prefer to bake simple plain cakes on a regular basis
as an accompaniment with evening tea/coffee or just as an anytime snack.
Ingredients:
- All purpose flour- 1 ¼ cup
- Custard powder -1/4 cup
- Baking powder- 1 teaspoon
- Baking soda- ½ teaspoon
- Condensed milk- ¾ cup
- Butter- 4 tablespoon
- Milk – 1/3 cup
- Tooty fruity- ½ cup
- yellow colour- few drops
Let's learn how to do it:
- Sieve in dry ingredients and keep aside.
- Add a teaspoon of flour to tooty fruity and keep aside.
- Whisk butter and condensed milk in a bowl.
- Add milk and flour mixture alternatively little by little and fold it into the liquid mixture.
- Lastly mix vinegar.
- Fold tooty fruity into the batter along with the yellow clour and pour it into the greased mould.
- Bake in pre heated oven at 180 degrees for 20-25 minutes, until a tooth pick inserted at the centre of the cake comes out clean
